Summer in Port Moody has many great things to offer, Great music in the park, sailing,  fabulous food and a beach at low tide. In our life we encounter many first experiences and I happened upon Donovan & Lissett with their 4 month old puppy “ROCKY” out for his first swim at the beach. Watching him taking his first steps into the water,raising his paw to touch the water to see perhaps if he could walk on it was fantastic. Thanks for shakin it up Rocky…

We are all CANUCKS!!! Kathleen & Ryan are passionately in love with each other and their Vancouver Canucks. Gastown has always inspired us, even more so when we’re also working with a beautiful couple like Kathleen & Ryan. While we’ve been fortunate to photograph in many locations in Metro Vancouver, this was our first in one of many favorite spots, http://www.gastown.org/guide/map.html  The area’s natural beauty combined with the drama of the iconic archetecture made the perfect backdrop for Kathleen & Ryan’s You & Me Session.

Romance in Goeler’s Mews

A little history on Goeler’s Mew’s. This small two-cell courtyard built in the mid-1800s and burned down in the Great Fire of 1886, used to serve as the city’s first jail. It is a Gastown landmark that consists mainly of a commemorative sign and some bars in the cobblestone alley way that used to hold the frontier town’s unruly citizens, but it’s a must-visit for the turn-of-the-century tales it carries. The small square with its antique light fixtures and explanatory plaques now features studios, offices. This is a fabulous place to create images…

Dina & Larry picked a fabulous location for us to capture their You & Me Session. The Historic Stewart Farm is located in Elgin Heritage Park in South Surrey, BC. This picturesque site interprets the time period 1890-1920. Features include a furnished farmhouse, pole barn with agricultural tools and machinery, boathouse, threshing shed, root cellar, and heritage gardens and orchard. http://www.surrey.ca/culture-recreation/2875.aspx
